Account Manager/ CFO

Carrie Showalter is an Account Manager/ CFO at Fulling Management and Accounting, Inc. 

Carrie graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors of Business Administration in accounting and organizational management. She received her Masters degree in accounting from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. She is a licensed CPA.

Carrie started her career in public accounting with a regional firm in the Southeastern US. She led audits in various industries including manufacturing, retail, wholesale distribution, government contracting & non-profits. She also worked on due diligence projects with the M&A department of the firm. Carrie continued her career with a large transportation and logistics company in a finance leadership position where she was heavily involved in managing all accounting processes and staff as well as strategic planning of the company.

She later transitioned to a new role, company founder. With her entrepreneurial spirit, Carrie and her partner started a consulting firm offering accounting and finance services to small and mid-sized businesses. For seven years, she functioned as a fractional CFO for a multitude of client companies while also serving as a firm leader to their 20 employees before selling her partnership interest. Carrie’s experience as a business owner offers a unique understanding when working with owners and leaders of client companies. She is an expert in financial reporting and analysis, risk management, budgeting/forecasting, cash management, internal controls & human resource management.

Carrie has lived primarily in the southeastern US and currently resides in eastern Tennessee. Outside of work, she spends most of her time with her two young children, Rowan & Maisie, and her husband, Zach. Staying active and healthy is very important to Carrie and you can usually find her walking, running or at the gym. She loves to cook, read, and spend time with friends. Although she attended the University of Georgia, she is a Tennessee Volunteer at heart!
