Heather McCoskey

Chief Operating Officer

Heather McCoskey is currently serving as the COO/Integrator for Fulling Management & Accounting (FMA).

In this capacity, she collaborates with the founder to align the company’s operations with its vision and oversees the day-to-day activities. Heather plays a crucial role in team leadership, client acquisition, and talent recruitment. Additionally, she continues to serve as a CFO for a select portfolio of clients, providing financial guidance and support.

Heather’s professional journey began after she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Kansas.  She furthered her education at the same institution, obtaining her Master of Science degree in Accounting and Information Systems.

Her career commenced as a staff accountant at a regional CPA firm in Kansas City, where she engaged with new audit clients and built professional networks.  She later transitioned to the role of controller at a mid-size distributor.  With no previous internal accounting staff, she accepted the challenge of getting the books in order and implemented policies and procedures to streamline the operations of the company.  Before joining FMA, Heather served as a CFO for a mid-size manufacturing and distribution company in the Midwest.  In this role, she played a pivotal part in preparing the company for acquisition and collaborated closely with the equity firms during due diligence processes.

With over 20 years of experience in management and accounting, Heather has expertise in financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, cash management, internal controls, mergers and acquisitions, operations management, and human resources management.

Heather grew up in a small town in Northeast Kansas and relocated to the Kansas City area after college.  Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband Ryan and their 3 sons, Tyson, Gavin & Aiden.  Their activities include traveling, attending sporting events, participating in church activities, serving in the surrounding communities, and spending time visiting family in Iowa and Kansas.
