The EDGE - Diligence
The Fulling team has begun a new video lesson! Each week in our staff meetings, we watch a culture & leadership video to aid in our professional and personal development. We are currently watching the E.D.G.E series from Adam Tarnow and David Morrison. Follow along each week as we learn the four simple, profound ways to show that you’re emotionally committed without sucking up, selling out, or being anything but the best version of you.
Today’s lesson talked about diligence, a careful and persistent approach to work. It was a great reminder that diligence is becoming more and more rare in today’s world, so by being diligent, you will show most definitely stand out and show that you are all in.
The three ways to show diligence David talked about were pursing excellence in the core competencies of your job, become an expert in your job, and resourcefully solve problems.
We talked about how Canopy really helps us manage our tasks and some improvements around that as well. One team member mentioned a challenge she learned earlier in her career to always bring three solutions when you take a problem to your leader. We’d like to think about this in regard to working with our clients as well.
Join us as we hear more from Adam and David about the EDGE framework and how we can give our careers an EDGE.
