Serving the community with a horse!

Recently one of our Fulling Management team members, Susie Salmina, and her family provided horses to Hospice of Lake County's quarterly Bereavement Camp in Lakeport, CA.  The horses facilitated equine-assisted therapy sessions for children within the county who have recently lost a family member.  

Susie and her family have been working with Hospice of Lake County for several years and enjoys watching the engagement that occurs between horse and child.  Being with and riding the horses offers a non-threatening environment in which the children can express their emotions and begin the healing process.  Susie and her family are looking forward to the next camp in July, 2016 at Saratoga Springs in Upper Lake, CA.
