The Fulling team watched a new video lesson this week! Each week in our staff meetings, we watch a culture & leadership video to aid in our professional and personal development. This week we listened to Dan Cathy, President and CEO of Chick-Fil-A, speak about an important commitment and value his company keeps week in and week out.

Dan talked about a commitment his dad made in 1946 and how the implications of that commitment are still in effect today. By keeping the commitment of being closed every Sunday, Dan has witnessed how his company is thriving on the other six work days because of that day to rest and recharge for the upcoming week.

Our team was able to talk and share commitments and values that we practice at Fulling Management and Accounting that mean the most to us.

Some of those answers being the culture of support for each other, having a champion attitude, representing our clients well, our flexibility and family atmosphere, how we are proactive learners, our daily check-in’s with each other, serving God, serving others, and our prayers at the end of each staff meeting.

Food for Thought

  • What is one commitment or value that you practice in your workspace that means the most to you?
