Some team members here at Fulling have been going over the 6 Rules of Employee Engagement that Ken Coleman shared during the Entreleadership Summit.

The PURPOSE Rule is one that we focused on recently.

“Your people should be using what they do best to do work they love to produce results that matter to them. This rule can be broken down into three parts. First, “using what they do best” talks about talent, then “work they love” deals with passion. Third, “matter to them” is about mission. According to this first rule, talent, love and mission are all an integral part of discovering purpose in the workplace.”

Talent + Passion + Mission = PURPOSE

We asked some of our team member’s to write their own Purpose Statements and share with each other. Here are the responses!

Kevin Naeger - “To use my years of experience to teach business leaders how to read their financial statements so they can understand and speak the language of business.”

Ryan McGarghan - “To establish solid relationships as a trusted "partner" with small business owners in serving them in order to achieve their life's goals.”

Elaine Kovacs - “Lead both clients and fellow team members in a way that allows them to feel supported, confident, and to grow in their positions as business owners and business leaders.”

Heather McCoskey- “To serve as a leader in my community, amongst my family & to my team and clients encouraging & elevating others to live his/her life to its full potential by utilizing our God-given talents to make a difference in this world.”
